Cocoa Beach, Florida is a place I would visit with my family most summers in middle and high school. My Dad works as an engineer for the Airforce and would often have business trips to the nearby Patrick Airforce Base. During the summer, he would usually take us along for a week or two.
Great weather, great food, and a great beach are a fantastic combination for a fun vacation. Plus, Cocoa Beach is just south of Cape Canaveral so we would occasionally get to see rocket launches.

Oh, this is fun, Chris! I used to watch "Dream of Jeannie" reruns when I was a kid, so that is how I know Cocoa Beach... how cool that you have actually been there! And seen rocket launches! A blast from the past: I Dream of Jeannie :-)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you went to Cocoa Beach. My parents live like 30 minutes south of Cocoa, so I've been there a few times. Actually learned to surf there. It's a neat little place, but always gets super crowded on the weekends. You have to go there on like a Wednesday to get the beach to yourself. The pier is super neat though. Whelp, see you later
